Key Responsibilities

As a General Assistant, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with responsibilities that include

Recruitment advertising packages

Customer Service Excellence

Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Store Maintenance

Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with OHASA regulations by keeping store areas clean, organized, and safe.

Stock Handling & Merchandising

Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock deliveries. Ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are attractively displayed.

Team Collaboration & Development

Work effectively as part of a team, build positive workplace relationships, and take initiative in your personal and professional growth.

Minimum Requirements

Education

Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4)

Experience

Minimum of 1-year experience in a general worker or similar role

Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and active listening skills

Excellent time management and multitasking ability

Attention to detail with good problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others

Knowledge & Attributes

Basic understanding of OHASA legislation and retail customer service practices
